Simran holds a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa. With over five years of experience, she has developed expertise in several key areas, including hydrogeology, mathematical modelling, waste management, and geotechnical engineering. Her professional background spans both industry and research, allowing her to apply her knowledge in practical and innovative ways. Simran specializes in 3D numerical groundwater flow modeling and contaminant transport analysis and will be leveraging her skills to contribute to the expanding numerical modeling and data visualization team for mine sites and contaminated sites. She is proficient with industry-leading tools and software such as MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas, COMSOL Multiphysics, Surfer, Tecplot, and R.
