Miguel A. Madrid, M.Sc.-Senior Hydrogeologist, Associate Experts, Environmental Specialist

Miguel is an Environmental Specialist with 15 years of experience in hydrogeology and investigations of contaminated sites and mining sites. He has participated in multiple federal and provincial projects in Canada dealing with environmental issues as a result of organic and inorganic chemical impacts, including contaminated sites in Ontario, Manitoba, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories. Previous to this, and before completing his Masters in Hydrogeology at the University of Waterloo, he spent four years working in numerous international projects related to engineering and environmental geophysics, as well as groundwater in mining areas in Chile, Peru, and Argentine. Miguel is also a global water quality consultant with the UNICEF/WHO Joint Monitoring Program for Water and Sanitation.
