As a Geospatial specialist with a PhD in Civil Engineering and Geotechnics, I bring advanced expertise in automated, semi-automated, and manual image analysis using ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and Python scripting.

Simran Kaur

Hydrogeologist, Numerical Modeller

Simran holds a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa. With over five years of experience, she has developed expertise in several key areas, including hydrogeology, mathematical modelling, waste management, and geotechnical engineering

Nicholas Fitzpatrick

M.A.Sc., P.Eng. Principal Hydrogeologist, Numerical Modeller

Nicholas yields expertise in hydrogeological engineering, hydrogeological site characterizations/conceptual models, Permit to Take Water, ECA/EASR applications, dewatering assessments, contaminant hydrogeology, aggregate resources, project management, groundwater modelling, data analysis, and monitored natural attenuation assessments.

Victor Frutuoso

Hydrogeologist/Numerical Modeller

Victor holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of São Paulo and a Master of Applied Science
( M.A.Sc .) from the University of Toronto, where his research focused on groundwater flow modeling and the transport and fate of contaminants in complex subsurface environments.

With 5+ years of combined academic and professional experience, Victor brings a strong foundation in Hydrogeological and geochemical modeling, Contaminated site assessment, Mining site hydrogeology, Data processing and management. Geospatial analysis and visualization. His work integrates field data, conceptual site models, and advanced numerical simulations to support robust environmental assessments and remediation strategies. Victor has hands-on experience across both contaminated site projects and mining operations, including groundwater system evaluations, contaminant behaviour assessments, water balance support, and environmental
impact studies.

Maggie Laird

B.Sc. Junior Hydrogeologist

Maggie holds a BSc. Honours degree in Environmental Geoscience with a minor in Geomatics and Spatial Analysis from the University of Ottawa. Her enthusiasm for understanding complex hydrogeological systems and applying geochemical modeling techniques to real-world problems has been a driving force in her studies and career aspirations

Khatoon Motakefghmoi

M.Sc. Hydrogeologist/Numerical Modeller

Khatoon recently completed graduate studies in Earth Sciences -Hydrogeology at the University of Waterloo and brings over 5 years of experience in hydrogeologic assessments, groundwater flow modelling, water resource management, and environmental consulting. Her background includes work on groundwater modelling using MODFLOW and HydroGeoSphere, climate change impacts on groundwater systems, contaminant transport analysis, and regional water management projects.

Prior to joining our team, she contributed to major groundwater and environmental projects through consulting roles and academic research, including water allocation studies, aquifer assessments, and remediation modelling.

Miguel A. Madrid

M.Sc.-Senior GeoEnvironmental Specialist & Hydrogeologist

Miguel is a GeoEnvironmental Specialist with more than 20 years of experience in hydrogeology and investigations of mining sites and contaminated sites. He has participated in multiple federal and provincial projects in Canada dealing with environmental issues as a result of organic and inorganic chemical impacts

Experience & Credentials
