Miguel Madrid, M.Sc. Senior GeoEnvironmental Specialist & Hydrogeologist
Miguel is a GeoEnvironmental Specialist with more than 20 years of experience in hydrogeology and investigations of mining sites and contaminated sites. He has participated in multiple federal and provincial projects in Canada dealing with environmental issues as a result of organic and inorganic chemical impacts, including sites in Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and the Yukon. Previous to this, and before completing his Masters in Hydrogeology at the University of Waterloo, he spent four years working in numerous international projects related to engineering and environmental geophysics, as well as groundwater in mining areas in Chile, Peru, and Argentine. Miguel has also been a technical expert in water and environment for development projects in Ecuador, Kenya, Mozambique and Burundi.
